Hit Me Loud 03:14
Like the way that you say party people You're the king Asiatic no one's equal Don't go to work can't find your pants Keep the bottle up don't take a chance Stick the red velvet cake in the dryer Hit the panic button until you get higher Stick the egg and orange underneath the bed Say it party people just like I said HIT ME LOUD HOLD IT NOW DON'T STOP House of the rising sun lampshade Dancing on the table pretty girl parade Let me see you shake it in your hot pants Let me see you shake it 'cos you like to dance Break a pool stick at the Merle show Tearing through the pit because we said so Police man driving out thru the snow Where'd you lose your truck? Man I don't know HIT ME LOUD HOLD IT NOW DON'T STOP Rigorous training for the biodome Rigorous training keeps me far from home You're the cutest thing that I've ever seen But right now you're too close to me Ask the pretty girl if she's Mexican Rolling down the street in my Lex again Tripping over all the trustafarians When I'm trying to walk down Lexington HIT ME LOUD HOLD IT NOW DON'T STOP

Everything 04:15
It's like your mama said girl it's all about seduction The cards are on the table and I'll meet you at the junction I lie about the function mislead about the use You put it all together it's a straight line towards abuse Just like the Stones all rolled together being Sly about their meaning The Beatles all got squashed as Stevie wonders on the meaning of a Faded yellow pattern that looks just like a boy I knew When I was just a boy too and thought the whole world knew about EVERYTHING If a liar and a baker made a begging pie for 20 And a politician showed up would there still be plenty left for all of the Narcissistic TV watching drooling paranoids who think Nothing of a grown man wearing tights screaming at boys It's dangerous being communist and so close to the tip of us David Bowie's androgynous it's all enough to make me cuss A mother and a father for letting a boy I knew When I was just a boy too and thought the whole world knew about EVERYTHING If a triple headed gila monster asked me who should be The president of the United States I'd probably say me Just like the coat of many colors led to locust and disease

Cars run on gasoline that's buried in the middle east. So we go to war to protect our gas. The rest of the world can kiss our ass. Uh huh Give them a reason to go to war then they'll tell us what we're fighting for. Remember the Maine and Pearl Harbor. The Gulf of Tonkin, September 11. Uh huh The brave ones fight in our military. I'm still driving my SUV. The brave ones die in our military. I'm still driving my SUV. Uh huh

Love 03:02
Will it be the bridge or the family. Arrogance or insecurity. The smile or the look away. The I don't know what to say. Will it be the shrink or the follow thru. Nothing to say or do. Relax or will I be tense. Connect with the audience. Whatever gets me higher. Whatever gets me closer. To LOVE. Now my brother was too young to die. And I contemplated suicide. 'Cos I was touched inappropriately. And being open's hard for me. So I can stay at home and watch TV. Say it's my personality. Or I can be open. Be naked.

Somebody 02:52
I'm feelin' it every time you're near. No I don't trust myself. When I smell ya and I hear ya want to touch you and be near ya. When you look at me and smile it drives me wild. Like Tina says I'll hold your hand and make you understand my plan, so why don't you be good to me and take me from my misery. SOMEBODY. I need SOMEBODY. I'm thinking about you all day. Sometimes I wish I never saw your face. Maybe some day we'll get together and play a little song not suitable for kids underage. The song would start slow, the song would be long. The chorus would be beautiful, the ending would be strong.

Slaves 02:15
I'm just a white middle class basic suburban dweller. I sit and watch my TV. I see things I don't wanna see. If you do not look like me and you are on my TV, then you are probly starving, then you are probly dying. I've only been beat up twice. It never really hurt. At 5 I stole a hot wheel. At 10 I rang a church bell. Our compassion deadened, SLAVES to media. Constant repetition, SLAVES to media. The couch is getting sweaty. I turn adjust the cushion. I turn the TV off. The memory barely flickers. If I could just adjust the cushions of the world I'd do it in a heartbeat, but all I have's my TV. All we do now is show it. We do nothing to stop it. We throw away our money. We think that that will stop it.

Thoughts and fears of death and dying overtake us without trying. Safety in suburbia sure can put a hurt on ya. Guilt for being sad and lonely in this land of milk and honey, hummers, fast food, and soap operas. It all makes me wanna talk about love. YOU GOTTA LOVE SOMEBODY RIGHT NOW. Dear Iraq we are so sorry. We the people don't have the money to control the military whose decisions are quite scary. It's hard to differentiate with so many people to hate, but we the people have decided, since we cannot fight it, to talk about love. Take your butterfly wings and start a hurricane.
